Almond Meal Blondies

I usually don't include the pecans because my wife is a "purist" however, when I plan to serve them to others I add the nuts because without them you can't tell they are made with nut flour and the pecans serve as a warning for people with nut allergies. 
INGREDIENTS
2 tablespoons butter 
2 tablespoons coconut oil 
1/2 cup brown sugar 
1/4 cup maple syrup 
1 eggs 
1 teaspoons vanilla 
1-1/4 cup almond (meal) flour 
1/2 teaspoon baking powder 
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon 
1/4 teaspoon salt 
3/4 cup chocolate chips 
1/2 cup chopped pecans, optional

INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Preheat the oven to 350F. 
  2. Lightly grease a 8-in square baking pan. 
  3. In the bowl of a stand mixer, cream together the butter and sugars. 
  4. Add the eggs and vanilla and mix on high until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes. 
  5. Add the almond flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Mix to fully incorporate. 
  6. Stir in the chocolate chips and pecans. 
  7. Pour the dough into the greased baking dish. Smooth into an even layer. 
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until golden. 
  9. Allow to cool for at least 15 minutes. Slice into squares and enjoy!
